The ibibio TTS system has been developed at the University of Uyo in Nigeria under the leadership of Prof Eno-Abasi Urua, and at Bielefeld University under the leadership of Prof Dafydd Gibbon. The system provided here is a first prototype only, as a lot of effort has gone into providing other resources for the system which have yet to be integrated.

As for all our voices, the database is supplied separately and is not versioned as we do not expect it to change in the future, though it may be extended at some stage, in which case we will supply an incremental update. You may find that the gzip files are downloaded by Windows with the extension tar.tar. If this happens you will simply need to rename them back to .tar.gz.
